I am twelve kinds of pissed about the Emmys. First, most of the wrong people got nominated, but I had reconciled myself to that fact. I figured maybe, just maybe, they would reward the few noms they actually got right. But nooooo...

Fucking William Shatner.

Fucking James Spader.

Fucking Brad Garrett.

Fucking Doris Roberts.

Fucking Everybody Loves Raymond.

At least Felicity Huffman won. As did Lost. And S. Epatha Merkerson was too adorable for words.

But mostly I screamed at the TV. I even like Tony Shalhoub, but Jason Bateman or Zach Braff should have won. I can't believe Hugh Laurie didn't win. And don't even get me started on The Piven.

At least Jen Affleck didn't win. Wow, that would have sucked.

Too much time spent on Emmy Idol, and not enough time actually letting the awesome Ellen Degeneres host. Kristen Bell and Gary Dourdan? You guys totally deserve better.

Jon Stewart rocks my world.

Shut up, Teri Hatcher. Glad you didn't win either.

Grr.

As usual, the WB and UPN get no love from Emmy, which means Gilmore Girls, Everwood, and, most painfully, Veronica Mars go unrecognized.
