Can I just say how incredibly excited I am that SciFi is re-airing all of Jake 2.0? I loved the few episodes that I saw back when it originally aired, and it's great finally getting to see all the ones that I missed. Plus, lots and lots of Chris Gorham!

I watched the first three episodes last night, and came to a few conclusions:

1) I am a sucker for boys in white dress shirts
2) CG is all lanky and yummy and can wear a pair of pants like nobody's business
3) Jake and Diane are still utterly adorkable and I love them

I am totally burning all the episodes to DVD...

I figure I should start the New Year with an actual post, instead of just affirming my state of aliveness with yesterday's VM-HP crack!fic.

I don't make resolutions, because I never keep them, but there are things that I want to do this year. I want to actually write, and not just fanfic. I love writing fic, but if I'm ever going to get that novel published and sell the movie rights for millions of dollars, I should probably actually start the damn thing. :)

I also desperately need to start exercising on a regular basis, because I am just not happy with my appearance or my physical condition.

Anyway, I hope that everyone had happy and safe celebrations last night. Happy 2007!

P.S. Bought myself the Bose SoundDock for my iPod. Ohmygodiloveitsomuch. To quote Ferris Bueller, it is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

P.P.S. If anyone else has been swooning over Christopher Gorham as Henry on Ugly Betty, SciFi Channel is going to be airing his old show, Jake 2.0, starting this Friday.

Right now, I'm trying very hard not to vomit. Not an especially fun way to spend a Monday afternoon at work. Random waves of nausea are not my friend.

But anyway... Christmas was okay. None of my relatives drove me into fits of homicidal rage, which is a plus. Got some good gifts, but barring one last friend I haven't exchanged with, I think I'm going to have to break down and get the Firefly DVDs for myself.

In a good news/bad news moment, I am now hooked on Jake 2.0. This is good news because it's a fun show, and it's given me a new 'ship, and, well, the Christopher Gorham factor is always a beautiful thing. It is bad news because I need another TV addiction like I need a plate in my head. Also, thanks to [info]taraljc, I'm on a manic hunt for Jake/Diane fanfic.

Went to see LotR: RotK this past Saturday. fangirl squeeing here...spoilers likely )
